Seek His way first

Matthew 6:33-34 AMP

But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow,  for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

In His Word, God never promised us that we would never have any problems at all once we become born again. The good news is that if we are truly  in Christ, He will take care of it or He will show us what to do. That is a promise of His but we have to do something for Him first. We have to be very careful when we study the Bible not to pick a verse without reading what is written around that verse. The Amplified Bible makes it very clear : we have to aim and strive after first His way of doing and being right, and then everything we need will be given to us besides. If you are thinking “if i stumble and sin, will he keep providing for me?” Of course, as long as you don’t  habitually and constantly live in sin. You know, we feel so unworthy and ashamed when we sin but the truth of the matter is God knew way before you sinned that you would sin. So pray for forgiveness, repent, tell God that you receive His forgiveness, thank Him that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ and move on. Don’t dwell on it, don’t feel guilty, just resume your walk with God. Spend time with Him everyday in prayer and in His Word, worship Him, live in peace with everyone and love unconditionally like God loves you, give, help others, put Him first in your mind always. In different situations, sometimes it’s good to ask ourselves “Now how would Jesus react to this situation?” it’s much better to ask God to give us what He wants to give us and not what we want. He knows the desires of our hearts and He knows what is best for us. It’s even better to ask God to show us what He wants us to do for Him. There are many times i panicked for nothing but i can tell you that there is not one time that God did not provide for me. So if you live in obedience,  God will provide for you each day. So take courage and make the decision not to worry for nothing!  💖
