Little children

Matthew 18:3-4 AMP

And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all]. Whoever will humble himself therefore and become like this little child [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving] is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

When we are little children, we trust our parents blindly, it never crosses our mind not to trust them. it is like we are genetically programmed to do so. And we love them blindly too. We see our dad as our hero, strong and courageous, and our mom is our ultimate comfort when something bad happens to us. Maybe you did not have that as  a child, but our Father tells us : Although my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child]. [Ps. 22:10.]
So God is your father and mother. When kids make friends, they don’t put conditions to the friendship. They trust their friends with all their heart. Sure, they can be hurt by their friends, but they forgive and make peace fast. Usually kids don’t have a care in the world: they know their parents will provide for all of their needs, for them it is completely natural. Kids never ask themselves why do my parents provide for me and take care of me?  This is the way we must live in Christ Jesus. Not only can He give us infinitly more than our parents, He is also the best friend that will never leave our side. It saddens our Father when we doubt His ability to provide for all our needs. Doubting God simply means that we don’t trust Him. We ought to trust Him with all our hearts and our strength, the way we blindly trusted our parents. We must forgive as easely as kids do with their best friends. And always remember that the Word says that if we have unforgiveness in our hearts God will not answer our prayers. Finally the most important thing is we must be loving. God is love. The only commandment Jesus gave us is LOVE YOUR NEIBOURG AS YOU LOVE YOURSELVES. Never judge, never condemn, do your very best to love as Jesus loves you. ❤
