Psalm 33:20-22 amp
Our inner selves wait [earnestly] for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield. For in Him does our heart rejoice, because we have trusted (relied on and been confident) in His holy name. Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You.
Most of us are truly impatient in waiting, in know I was. If God reveals to us that He has a plan for us
(spouse, husband, ministry, etc) sometimes it’s hard to wait. But waiting is part of growing spiritually. If we do not wait how can God work on our endurance, patience and persistence? We have to accept this process and I can tell you that at one point you will be extremely patient. And I will never tell you enough, God bless us according to our faith ” O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You.” Being a born again Christian is not one quick fix, it is a beautiful, lifelong, glorious relationship with the Kingdom of God, Father, Son,Holy Spirit. What I have learned in my walk with Him is to wait properly is not to wait at all. I know, it is a bit of a shocker, but It is truly the best way. For example, if you were made aware by God that He has a husband or wife for you but you don’t know when you will meet that person, just thank God everyday for His promise will come true and go about your day as usual. Not waiting decreases dramatically the chance of becoming impatient or lonely in that particular case. God has more than one blessing for us so if we stop to wait at each one we will spend our life waiting! He Has to come first, not His promises, Him, every day. So let’s put Him first, living in Him and through Him, and enjoy the ride!💜
