For all eternity, we are His

John 10:27-29 amp.

The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father’s hand.

I truly believe that at one point or another, every born again Christian get what I call “a faith crise”. In my definition this crise consist of a time when we neglect God, a lot, wheter for a short period of time or a long period of time. When we are in this times, we stop feeling God’s presence in us and in our life. The truth is God did not move away one bit, we moved. In a split second we can ask for forgiveness and we start feeling Him again. The verses I chose this time are verses that every believer should understand, not only with our head but also with our heart. We are our Lord’s sheeps and nothing, nothing can snatch us from His hands. Even our mistakes cannot do that because we are not a surprise for God. He knows the exact day, hour and minute that we will sin against Him and is prepared to forgive us as soon as we ask for it. There is nothing we can do to change the fact that we are His and that nothing can separate us from His love for us. All our mistakes, hard times and pain we experienced without asking for His help still worked for our good. Even when we did not asked for His help He helped us, we can be sure of that. Our Father gave us to His son our Lord Jesus and nothing can snatch us from His hand, in this life and for all eternity. Praise God for that!  ❤
