John 6:37-40 amp.
All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]. For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will and purpose but to do the will and purpose of Him Who sent Me. And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I should not lose any of all that He has given Me, but that I should give new life and raise [them all] up at the last day. For this is My Father’s will and His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.
As we all grow a little bit more Christlike every day, God uses our bad circumstances as well as our good ones to mold us and change us. We all sometimes get to walk in a valley where things are not pleasant at all. In those daring times we must at all cost keep our faith intact and look to God for strength, hope and even joy. Some of us wrongly but sincerely believe that God abandoned them in the valley and this is caused by a lack of faith and trust in God. This is where those verses become very important. It took me a while to get it not just in my head, but in my heart. He lets us in the valley to make our faith, persistence and trust in Him grow. There is no other way. He let’s us be in the valley, but He is in the valley with us and He will help us with pleasure if we ask. Our Lord never did and never will abandon us no matter our circumstances. He will never reject us, never relax His hold on us, never. Our relationship with God is not limited to earth, it is limitless and it is eternal. There is nothing we can do that will separate us from His love for us. Not a valley, not anything. Our Father gave us to our Lord and Savior Jesus and He will never reject us or abandon us. Read those verses until they become heart knowledge. Pray them and hold on to them when the going gets rough. I promise you, someday (if you are not there yet) it will not matter to you if you are in a valley: you will be joyful, grateful and in peace in it. ❤
